Scott and Matilda H Scott, her parents, her husband of 60 years F. Arthur Harris, her brother Martin Dock Scott, Jr, and her daughter Anissa R. Harris, nephew William Scott, and niece Deanna Scott. She is also survived by her grandchildren Cash Wilson (Amy) of Bowling Green, Micah Medrano (Ryan) of Portland, TN, and Jack Kelley (Maria) of Mooresville, NC, as well as great-grandchildren Sophie Wilson, Bronx Medrano, Rorie Medrano, Carrigan Medrano, Haddie Anne Wilson, and Hailey Wilson. Other survivors include her aunts Connie Ballard (Bob) and Ticky Dyer, siblings Karen Tehrani, George Scott (Mary Ann), Sue Brashear (Stan), Tim Scott (Susie), sister-in-law Mildred Harris, nieces and nephews Mondy Bonaccorso (Guiseppe), Roxie Thomas (Marc), Dock Scott (Stephanie), Amber Scott, Autumn Scott, Jenna Dye (Josh), Angel Brashear, Alicia Monogioudis, Stacie Williams (John), Cam Scott, Billy (Patty) Harris, Sandy (Terry) Blain, Marty (Randy) McQueen, Mike (Angela) Harris, and several wonderful great nieces and great nephews. She also leaves behind extended family members Judy Haynes (Gary), Billy Russell (Carol), and Gwen Hymer (Raymond).

She graduated from Menifee County High School in 1960. Immediately after high school, she attended cosmetology school and began her life-long career in Muldraugh, KY, working close to the army base of Fort Knox.

Kathy loved God and her family fiercely. She was a shining example of a Christian wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her servant’s heart knew no boundaries. Kathy, along with her husband, were very involved while raising their children. She participated in church youth group activities, school parties, was a dugout mom for baseball and softball, cheerleading coach, and basketball fan.

Kathy supported her husband during his 40+ years in the ministry with the churches of Christ. She traveled with him to many congregations outside of Warren County and taught bible classes for several age groups throughout the years. Special to her heart was the girls’ teen class she mentored.

Kathy had so many talents, which she willingly shared with others. She loved to decorate her home for holidays, and cook meals, that were shared with her extended family. She loved to work on her landscape, making her home welcoming to all who visited. She was a master seamstress, sewing most of her children’s clothes when they were younger. She even sewed costumes when her children were in high school plays. She was so creative, resourceful, and an “out-of-the-box” thinker. And her work ethic was second to none. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren by doing things such as having tea parties and decorating eggs for Easter. She truly was a gift to the world and touched so many lives.

The family would like to say a special ‘Thank You’ to Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Their kindness, compassion, and caring professionalism is unmatched.
