Horse Cave woman arrested in Glasgow on possession charges

Horse Cave woman Brittany Lacy, is facing multiple charges following a traffic stop today in Glasgow.

According to a uniform citation the Glasgow Police Department observed a white SUV traveling north on SL Rogers Wells Blvd.

The Glasgow Police Department said a strong odor of marijuana was coming from the car, and two children were inside of the vehicle. According to the citation, there was maggot larva in the floorboard of the vehicle were the children were seated.

It was determined that Lacy was driving on a suspended license. A vehicle search revealed bags of suspected methamphetamine.

Lacy was arrested and charged with operating on a suspended or revoked operators license, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second offense, methamphetamine, and endangering the welfare of a minor.
