Stewart Thompson, 82, of Bowling Green died on Friday, September 13, 2024. The Warren County native was born on January 4, 1942 to the late Brade Stewart and Thala Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Marshall.
Mr. Thompson recently retired from Henkel. He loved sports, particularly the Cincinnati Reds, UK Wildcats, and WKU Hilltoppers.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Thursday from 9:30 AM to service time.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean Thompson; a son, Jerry Thompson; two daughters, Terri Nelson (Chad) and Vicki Pierce (Charles Sr.); a sister, Sue Ramsey (Don); five grandchildren, Emma, Carly, Courtney, Charles Jr., and Eliana; nephews, Michael Ramsey, Anthony Ramsey, and Ken Marshall; nieces, Kaye Durrant and Karole Worthington; and several other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
