Joretta Mosby, 69, of Bowling Green died on September 13, 2024 at Tri-Star Greenview Hospital. She was born on December 29, 1954 in Butler County to the late Vollie and Mary Francis Basham.
Joretta worked as a Furniture Finisher for Cassady’s Antique Reproduction for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed making fresh flower arrangements and spending time in her kitchen cooking and baking. She is preceded in death by her husband, David L. Mosby; a sister, Marla Cline; and three brothers, Virgil, Lonnie, and Jimmy Basham.
She is survived by her three sons, Jeremy (Fallon) Doolin, Toby Basham, and Dennis (Tammy) Doolin; four sisters: Loretta Dicicco, Lisa Clothier, Edith Young, and Diane Ladd; a brother, Tommy Basham; a grandson, John Basham; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 11:00am at the J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Chapel on Broadway in Bowling Green, Kentucky with burial at the Marrowbone Cemetery in Metcalfe County. Visitation will be prior to starting at 9:00am until the time of service.
