Craig Chandler passed away Tuesday September 3, 2024 in Orlando, Florida. He was the son of the late Sue Barentine Stringer and Malcolm Gerald Chandler, in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Barry Chandler.
Craig was born in Torrance, California on August 12, 1954 and grew up in the small town of Owasso, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife, Marrilyn McNeese Chandler, son, Michael David Chandler, of Davenport, Florida, brother, David Chandler (Amy Hale Chandler) and their three daughters, of Bowling Green, Kentucky along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Craig was a graduate of Western Kentucky University and ended his career as the Paradise Terminal District Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration covering the state of Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. His passion for aviation drove his desire to travel which allowed to complete 60% of his bucket list.
Visitation will be Friday September 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery #2, located on Cemetery Road in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Northridge Baptist Church in Haines City, Florida in the near future.
