Chester Dale Lane, age 82, of Munfordville, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. He was a Hart County Native, and was a proud farmer, and an avid outdoorsman. Chester was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Dale Lane, and Ruby Boston Lane; daughter, Brenda Lane; brothers, Ricky Lane, and Stevie Dale; sister, Donna Haskins.
He is survived by his wife, Jullie Horton Lane; daughter, Joyce Wilson (Craig); grandchildren, Amanda Poteet Woolen (Kevin), Travis Wilson, Jimmy Lane (Alicia); great-grandchildren, Layla, Vivian, Valery, Paisley, Ben, and Braydon; several siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at Winn Funeral Home on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. and from 8:00 AM until the time of the service on Monday.
Burial will follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
