A Bowling Green man has been arrested and charged in connection with a vehicle reported stolen, following a traffic stop by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. On August 30, deputies pulled over a 2007 Ford Freestyle at Huck’s gas station on Russellville Road near Blue Level Road. Upon inspection, the vehicle was confirmed as stolen.
The driver, identified as 37-year-old Ralph Deluca, claimed to have had possession of the vehicle for several months, stating that he was in the process of purchasing it from his employer. Deluca told authorities that his boss had been deducting approximately $75 from each paycheck for the vehicle and speculated that the vehicle might have been reported stolen by the same employer.
Deluca was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Warren County Detention Center. He is facing charges of operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000.
