Woman Arrested After Police Chase in Allen County

Aug 25, 2024 | 2:13 PM

A local woman, Corinna Hack, was arrested on multiple charges after a vehicle chase through downtown Scottsville on Wednesday. Allen County Deputies responded to a call for a “Be on the Lookout” (BOLO) for a white vehicle driven by Hack.

The Scottsville Police Department located the vehicle traveling through the square, missing a tire, and dangerously sparking as it moved along the roadway. Scottsville Police units attempted a traffic stop at the intersection of West Wood Street and Old Gallatin Road.

When officers tried to make contact with Hack, she fled the scene, driving her vehicle up West Wood Street and into the parking lot of the Allen County Sheriff’s Department. Allen County Deputies and Scottsville Police Officers were forced to physically remove Hack from her vehicle.

Hack appeared to be under the influence and acted disorderly during her interaction with law enforcement. She was taken into custody and lodged in the Allen County Detention Center on numerous charges. The exact nature of the charges is still under review.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident, which drew attention from local residents due to the visible sparks and the chase through a busy area of town. No injuries were reported during the pursuit.
