Gary Dockery, age 63 of Brownsville, departed this life on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at his residence. The Fostoria, Ohio native was born on February 16, 1961 to the late Ed and Donna Miller Dockery. He was married to his loving wife and best friend, Sherri Moore Dockery, who survives.
Gary worked for many years as an electrician. He loved playing music, and working with trialing border collies. His greatest pleasure was making memories with his family!
Besides his wife, Sherri, he leaves to honor his memory— his children, Eric Dockery and Joel Dockery, both of Kokomo, IN, Kevin Payne (Shannon) of Alvaton and Brittany Kitchens (K.J.) of Brownsville; step-children, Niccole Jones (Andy) of Pathfork and Jacob Daniels (Jill) of Morgantown; grandchildren, Erica Payne, Raylan Kitchens, Kaylee Jones, Jaxon Daniels and Gracie Alexander; sister, Lenore Shoemaker; special niece, Kiya Moore, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Debbie Williams and Patti Cowley.
Interment will be in Kinslow Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to: Kinslow Cemetery Fund.
