The Metcalfe County Schools’ first day for students will be Monday, Aug. 26.
However, on Monday Aug. 19 from noon ’til 6:00 p.m. they will be holding an old-fashioned ice cream social for children and their families. This gathering extends an opportunity to students to meet their teachers.
