Paul William Mayes, age 95 of Adairville, Kentucky passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at his home. He was born in Adairville, Kentucky on May 6, 1929 to the late Will Mayes and Mary Thorpe Mayes. He worked at the Adairville Hosiery Mill. He was a US Navy veteran during the Korean War and a member of the Adairville Baptist Church. He was the Fire Chief for the Adairville Fire Department for a number of years and a Mason for Lodge 17 F&M and a Logan County Shriner. He is survived by:

Funeral Services for Paul William Mayes will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Adairville Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Stacey and Bro. Tony Chaudoin officiating with burial to follow in Adairville’s Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation at the church on Monday will be from 10:00 am until the service hour of 1:00 pm. Summers and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
