Oleta Frances Vance Blewett Dearing, age 81, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 2pm at Crafton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2pm until 8pm Friday and after 6am on Saturday.
A native of Simpson County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence London Vance and Beulah Frances Tarrence. She was retired from Sealed Power. She had a love and passion for all veteran organizations and causes. Oleta strived to help anyone with any need and loved her family.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband – Joe Blewett; daughter – Gail Blewett Coleman; great granddaughter – Jaydee Kate DeGraffenreid; brothers and sisters – Helen Crafton, Carl Vance, Bonnie Perkins, Herbert Vance and John Vance.
Survivors include her husband – Bobby Dearing of Franklin; 3 children – Marty Walker (Boone) of Franklin, Pennie Jo Blewett of Smyrna, TN and Scott Dearing of Bowling Green; grandchildren – Jody Moody (Kansie), Crystal Moody, Lisa Daye Coleman, Clint Coleman (Charity), Nikki Garrett (Chad) and Megan Davidson (Ryan); great grandchildren – Erika Moody, Chelse Dillard, Xander Landrith, Maisie Garrett, Cooper DeGraffenreid, Haleigh Coleman and Amberly Coleman; 1 great great grandchild– Braelynn Stradtner along with several nieces and nephews.
