Deborah Renee Helms Westphal of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Chester Alvin Helms and Shirley Marie Jones Helms, was born on Thursday, October 29, 1959 in Oklahoma and passed away on Sunday August 11, 2024 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. She was 64 years, 9 months, and 13 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and became an ordained minister in 2010 with the Universal Life Church.
She is survived by a daughter: Amanda Bassett of Michigan; a son: Ryan Bassett (Paige) of Michigan; three brothers and sisters-in-law: David and Janice Helms of Michigan, Kelly and Rachel Helms of Greensburg, and Roger Helms of Kansas; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: Wade Helms.

Honoring the families wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no formal services at this time. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
