Lynn Marie Thompson Corff, 71, of Bowling Green passed away August 10, 2024 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green surrounded by her loving family.
The Galveston, Texas native was born August 14, 1952 to the late William and Amelia Inez Beloso Thompson. She later lived and grew up in the Biloxi/Gulfport area of Mississippi. She is also preceded in death by grandson, Benjamin Steele; great-granddaughter, Armani Nichole Steele; brother, Roy Thompson; sister, Claudine Decoteau; and several other siblings. Lynn loved to dance and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with them all. Her life was an inspiration to all she was around and never met a stranger as she interacted with others.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Gary Wayne ‘Butch’ Corff; daughters, Amelia Miller (Bobby) and Mona Steele (Johnny); son, Robert Corff; grandchildren, Courtney Miller (Jacob), Charissa Constant (Brandon), Brooke Martin (Deshun), Hannah Corff, Jacob Corff, Kadin Corff, Amber Sides (Eric), Adam Steele (Cayla), Aaron Steele, Ashely Steele, Austin Steele (Alex), and John Mark Steele (Kira); 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda Kaye; special sister-in-law, Debbie Thompson (the late Roy); and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with visitation from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
