On August 9 the Glasgow Police Department responded to the intersection of N L Roger Wells Blvd. and Smith Road in reference to an injury accident.
It was determined that a 2007 GMC Envoy operated by Jo Caffee was traveling southbound on N L Roger Wells Blvd. and disregarded the traffic control device, striking a 2013 Ford Edge operated by Mary Birge who was traveling northbound on N L Roger Wells Blvd. and was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Smith Road.
Jo Caffee, Barbara Thompson and Mary Birge were transported by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS for their injuries.
The accident was investigated by Officer Micah Janes, assisted by the Glasgow Fire Department and the Barren/Metcalfe EMS.
