The City of Glasgow is hosting the annual household and Hazardous Waste and Free Shredder event August 24 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Beaver Trail Park.
This event is made possible through a Kentucky Pride Grant, allowing the city to help residents safely and properly dispose of items. items that will be accepted will include aerosols, oil-based paints, corrosives, medical waste, oil, antifreeze, household cleaners, pool chemicals and electronics.
They ask that no one brings latex paints, flares, explosives, tires, trash, ammunition, yard waste, industrial waste, appliances or 55 gallon containers of waste.
