The nearly 100 year old tradition of the Sulphur Well Homecoming in Metcalfe County’s “grove” at Sulphur Well Park will take place the third weekend of August, with all of the annual festivities scheduled for one day only, Saturday, August 17th.
The opening ceremony will kick-off the event at 2:00 p.m., followed by a historic scavenger hunt from 3:30 – 4:30.
There will be a car show and live music provided by Tymber Garrett, Cara Bishop and Alex Miller and the 23rd Annual Liz Jeffries Memorial Duck Race will happen at 5:00 p.m. The evening will come to a close with a glow stick shower, and fireworks at dark.
