Larry Wayne Paschal

Larry Wayne Paschal, 78, of Bowling Green passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky with his loving family by his side.

The Bowling Green native was born July 17, 1946 to the late Dennis Dodson Paschal and Verona VanMeter Paschal. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Paschal Wilson and her husband Harold. The Warren County High School graduate was a United States Navy veteran who served in Vietnam as an Aviation Support Equipment Technician aboard the USS Ranger. He later worked as a maintenance fabricator at Bowling Green Municipal Utilities. Outside of work he had many hobbies including woodworking, antique car repair, racing at Beech Bend, motorcycles, and most importantly being a loving husband, father, grandfather, and his furry friends Lizzie, Piper, and Pepper.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Susie Constant Paschal; daughters, Kimberly Sue Berger (Corey) of Alvaton and Tammy Lynn Mandeville (Todd) of Bowling Green; grandsons, Travis Mandeville, Trent Mandeville, Cole Berger, Carson Berger, and Chaz Berger; nieces, Suzanne Bilyeu and Sara Dekker; and nephews, Phil Bilyeu and David Alexander.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with visitation from 1 until 6 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery with military honors. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
