Joyce Lee Warren, 89, formerly a resident of Highland Ridge Assisted Living, was promoted to Glory Thursday, August 1, 2024. She was born November 13, 1934 in Queens, New York to the late Theodore Warren and Pauline Johnson Warren. For over 40 years, Joyce was a Divisional Secretary to the Divisional Commander in Indianapolis, Indiana for the Salvation Army. She loved attending Gospel Sings, spending time with her family and friends, telling jokes with her amazing sense of humor, and completing crosswords puzzles, as she was extremely intelligent. She was a member of the Salvation Army Protestant Church.
She is survived by one aunt; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and their spouses and children; one sister-in-law; and many cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Rose Mattingly (Kenny, Sr.), Tootsie Milligan (Des), Joe Warren and one nephew, Desi Milligan.
