Robert Howard Logsdon, age 83, of Cave City, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was a native of Horse Cave, and was a member of the Cave City Methodist Church. Robert retired after 24 years from RR Donnelley in Glasgow. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and proudly served his country during Vietnam. Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Violet Logsdon; three brothers, Franklin Logsdon, Buddy Logsdon, and Jerry Logsdon.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Logsdon; his son, Bart Logsdon (Debbie); daughter, Jennifer Hay (Paul); seven grandchildren, Brooke Byrd (Rusty), Brian Caudel (Lacy), Cole Hay (Mercedes), Alec Hay (Ashly), Bryce Logsdon, Mikaela Hyams (Devin), and Ty Hay; five great-grandchildren, Bennett Caudel, Boone Byrd,
Sloane Caudel, Archer Byrd, and Owen Hay; brother, Kenny Logsdon (Kate); sister-in-law, Adrienne Logsdon; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen by the family, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Winn Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with these arrangements.
