Raymond Curtis Moore Jr

Raymond Curtis Moore Jr., age 80, of Bowling Green Kentucky passed away on July 28, 2024. Raymond was born on February 27, 1944 to the late Raymond Curtis Moore Sr. and the late Evelyn Grace Slack in Charleston, West Virginia.

Raymond was hardworking, he spent 30 years working for W.F. Ware Feed Mill before retiring. Alongside being a skilled laborer, he was an artist. He enjoyed creating art, working on puzzles, playing music on his infamous harmonica, yearly pumpkin decorating, and country music. On a nice day, you could find him enjoying a nice long walk, embracing God’s masterpiece- Nature. He and his wife attended Guthrie Baptist Church in Guthrie, KY. for 30+ years before relocating to Bowling Green, KY. and joining Highland Baptist Church.

Raymond was preceded in death by two brothers; Donald E. Bogard and Larry R. Moore.

He is survived by his beautiful wife of 50 years, Mrs. Anita (Bennington) Moore, their two loving children; April Haggard of Unionville, TN., Timothy Moore of Bowling Green, KY., two Grandchildren; Mark Moore and Kaitlin Haggard, and a sister; Marlene Sick of Elkton, KY.

Mr. Moore’s wishes were to be cremated. Services have been entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son- Lover’s Lane Chapel.
