Ashley Carol Porter

Ashley Carol Porter was born, October 12, 1983, a daughter to Vicki Withrow-Franklin and Larry Franklin, Jr., in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Ashley was a graduate of Bowling Green High School, Class of 2002, and South Central Kentucky Community & Technical College leading to her career as a Registered Medical Assistant and continuing her education as a Medical Coding Specialist. She was employed at Commonwealth Pain & Spine Center for 15 years.

Ashley met the love of her life David Porter in high school. The dreams she had of becoming his wife and mother of his children all came true as they were joined in holy matrimony, on, October 21, 2009, to this union they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Olivia and Caroline. To be able to see the desires of your heart fulfilled and know that dreams do come true, Ashley was honored with that. Ashley loved doing her daughters hair, taking family trips, having movie night at home, reading poems by Maya Angelou, and she was a foodie. She worshiped with Hillview Heights Church, and her love for family and friends was indisputable with a smile that would light up the room. Ashley will forever remain in the hearts of those she has touched, knowing her memory will always be with them.

In the morning hours of the day, Ashley joined those passed before her, grandparents, Carolyn Withrow McKinney, Douglas Withrow, Sr., and Joyce Stovall Franklin; on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the age of 40 years, 9 months and 12 days.

To cherish the loving memory of Ashley Carol Porter she leaves her loving and devoted husband, David Porter; adoring daughters, Olivia Victoria Porter and Caroline Rose Porter; supportive parents, Vicki Withrow Franklin and Larry Franklin, Jr.; caring brother, Anthony Withrow Franklin; grandfather, Larry Franklin, Sr.; several aunts and uncles; and other relatives and friends.
