In the spirit of old-fashioned sidewalk sale days, small businesses around Glasgow are joining forces to offer back to school savings and sales to the community, August 1-3.
Numerous businesses are participating, including Simply Chic, Roots + Ramble, Boutique Unique, All About Me, The Cozy Traid, Trendy Me and many others.
Holly Samaras, owner/ operator of Rural Route Clothing Company is one of the business owners involved, and is pleased with the collaborative nature of the event.
“All of these businesses listed will have some kind of promotion or deal going on to encourage you to shop locally,” Samaras said. “I am making the three day event a tax free day at my store. This is Rural Routes first back to school event, and although I hope we have people of all ages, I am most excited about teens going back to school that can pick their style at Rural Route.”
