Reginald “Reggie” Ballard, 59, of Celina, TN and formerly of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, July 27th, at his home.
Reggie was born in Tompkinsville, KY on February 19, 1965, a son of the late Reba (Russell) and Harley Ballard.
Reggie married Peggy Head Ballard in November of 1985. Peggy preceded him in death on June 19, 2021.
He worked at Wal-Mart for nearly the past 20 years. Prior to that, he and his wife owned Dale Hollow BBQ, Key Stop Gas Station and Porky Shake. Reggie was a member of Tompkinsville First Baptist Church. He most loved being “Pa” to his three grandchildren.
Reggie is survived by a daughter, Hope Presley (Kevin), of Rickman, TN;
a son, Cody Ballard (Tasha) of Celina, TN; three grandchildren, Eila Presley, Ava and Creed Ballard.
Reggie is also survived by two sisters, Regina Turner and Roetta Arnett (Steve), and
a brother, Richard Ballard, all of Tompkinsville, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation is Tuesday, 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Thursday, 7:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Reggie’s memory may be made for funeral expenses.
