Ms. Cathy Joy Buck, age 67 of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
Cathy was born July 16, 1957, to the late Dale Gene Buck and the late Joyce Wayne Hill. She is also preceded in death by a son, Dustin Wayne Harris.
She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Jo Harris (Brian Claywell); brother, Douglas May; five grandchildren, Geah, Zackary, Abriana, Genna, and Koral; three great-grandchildren, Zakariah, Atticus, and Lucy.
Cathy was of Baptist faith and worked in childcare for many years. She enjoyed reading, and cuddling her cat, Buddy. She loved the color pink and 1957 Chevy’s. She loved her family dearly and taking care of others. Cathy was known for her kindness and that radiated outward to everyone she met.
The family has entrusted J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with arrangements.
Cathy’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial in her honor will take place at a later date.
