Mr. Gayle Bowlin of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, at his residence, having attained the age of 79 years, 3 months, and 5 days. Gayle was born on Saturday, April 14, 1945, in Albany, Kentucky to Alvis Eulina & Eula Pearl (Pennticuff) Bowlin. He was of the Baptist faith, a farmer, he owned Bowlin’s Feed, and enjoyed trap shooting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Bowlin, Lawrence Bowlin, Russell Bowlin, Jimmy Bowlin, Lanny Bowlin, sisters, Elizabeth Kearney, Nell Pierce, and Eddie Avery.
He is survived by his daughters, Paula Bowlin, Tina Bowlin, Janice (& John) Ford, siblings, Benny (& June) Bowlin, Faye Brown, sister-in-law, Ann Bowlin, grandchildren, Colton Bowlin, Kadee Ford, Blake Fitgerald, Cody Bowlin, Savannah Barker, Cameron Davis, Amber Davis, Parris Bowlin, and 11 great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be conducted on, Tuesday July 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of the Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky with Bro. Jerry Ridge & Steve Bowlin officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday July 22, 2024 after 5 p.m. at the funeral home until 9 p.m. and again from 6 a.m. Tuesday until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Albany Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky.
