Jul 18, 2024 | 8:27 AM

Larry Glenn Harris, 77, of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away on July 16, 2024.

Through the years, Larry worked in construction and sales, but his most beloved job was serving as a bus driver for Warren County Public Schools. Larry was a storyteller and loved a good laugh. He was fond of white tigers and even referred to his beloved Ford Mustang by that name.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Karene “Kay” and William Cyral Harris; brother, Dennis Dale Harris; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Harris.

Survivors include his sons, Raymond Wade Harris (Angela Huffman) and Matthew Glenn Harris (Heidi Thiel) both of Louisville; grandchildren, Maigan Harris, Michael Harris, Emily Huffman, Nicholas Huffman, and Luke Huffman; brothers, David Harris and Kelley Harris (Betty Harris); and many nieces and nephews.

While suffering several long illnesses, Larry stayed a fighter and always plied his doctors with jokes and tall tales. The family would like to thank all of the medical staff that worked with Larry through the years.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery #2, Section H on Saturday, August 3 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky or your favorite charity.
