A native of Robertson County Tennessee, he was the son of the late Robert E. Gregory and Flossie D. Gregory. Don was a member of East Side Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon & song leader. He was also a minister. Don was retired from the Colonial Baking Company where he was a route salesman. He was an avid fan of UK basketball, loved fishing with his family and bluegrass music. He also spent time visiting with his Amish friends in Scottsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings – Betty Toney, Joyce Carver, Janie Buchanon and Jackie Gregory.
Survivors include his wife – June Knight Gregory of Franklin; children – Kim Gregory Pedigo (Chris) of Scottsville, KY and Gina Gregory Bewley (Tony) of Franklin; sisters – Glenda Jones and Brenda Perdue both of Franklin; grandchildren – Austin Scarbrough, Andrew Scarbrough, Taylor Gregory, Cheryl Reece, Mistie Scarbrough, Andrew & Mathew Pedigo; great grandchild – Charlee Rae Scarbrough along with brother and sister in law – Jimmy and Brenda Knight.
