Graceteen W. Day (Amazing Grace) passed away peacefully July 10th. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul E. Day. She was the daughter of the late Henry & Ermine Childress Wilson.
Grace is survived by two daughters, Kimberly D. Kidd and Pamela D. Greene. Three grandchildren, Paul O. Kidd, Emily S. Kidd and Portia D. Greene. Four great-grandchildren Breille Bray, Zoey Kidd, Jayden Turley and Leiana Turley. One great-great-grandchild Parker Bray. One sister Eleanor Church along with many nieces and nephews.
She had so many special people in her life, two in particular Charlotta White and Ronnie Royce.
She cherished her Tates Creek Christian Church family, her church circle ladies and her Open Bible Class. Grace Day was amazing and will be missed by many. She lived a great life. She is no longer suffering and is in a much better place.
A funeral service for Grace Day will be 1pm Wednesday, July 17, at Tates Creek Christian Church, 3150 Tates Creek Rd., Lexington, KY. Visitation will be 11am til the time of the service on Wednesday at the church,
Local visitation will be Saturday, July 20th from 10am-12noon in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home in Munfordville with a graveside service to follow at the Cub Run Cemetery at approx. 12:30pm.
