Charles “Charlie” T Cherry Jr. passed away Tuesday July 9, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.
The Bowling Green native was the son of the late Charles T Cherry Sr. and Ollie Raymer Cherry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Roger Cherry and four sisters, Marie Feagan, Laura Cherry, Lisa Rich, and Debbie Cherry.
Charlie had an infectious smile, he loved his family and adored his grand kids, and a lifelong love for stock car racing.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Pam Cherry, one son Brian Cherry (Megan), one daughter, Michelle Cherry, one sister, Linda McDonald (Wayne), and one brother, David Cherry, five grandchildren, T’ani, Bryden, Max, Landon, Myles, and Lila, and one great-grandchild, Dreighson, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Thursday July 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Friday July 12, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM followed by burial in the Bowling Green Gardens.
