Hugh Doris Houchens, age 84, of Glasgow, KY, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Glasgow, on October 1, 1939, to the late Hugh Houchens and Eula Doris Parker Houchens. Hugh spent many years as a mechanic at South Fork Garage until he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Jimmy Hunley Houchens; son, Rickey Houchens (Patricia); granddaughter, Shania Houchens; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Gertrude Jessie and Lavona Emerson.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 9th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be Tuesday beginning at 10:00 AM until time for the service. Please share your condolences with the family at www.afcrowfh.com.
