Diana Evans Barnett of Monterey, Tennessee and Greensburg, Kentucky, Daughter of the late Chester Evans and Pauline Chenerensky Evans, was born on Saturday, February 17, 1951 in New York and departed this life on Thursday, July 4, 2024 in Louisville. She was 73 years, 4 months, and 17 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Maryville Baptist Church. She was a Senior System Analyst for KPMG.
Survived by her husband: Mark Barnett of Monterey, Tennessee and Greensburg, Kentucky, having united in marriage on August 31, 1991.
Other survivors include sisters-in-law: Linda and Ron Mareski of Waterford, Michigan, Vicki Lynn Drescher of Louisville, Lisa and Bo Bishop of Louisville; a brother-in-law: Dana Barnett of Otway, North Carolina; and a host of relatives and friends.
Mrs. Barnett was also preceded in death by a brother: Christopher Evans.

The funeral services for Diana Evans Barnett will be conducted at 10:00 A.M, Central Time, Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Eric Caudill officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 until 8 P.M., Central Time, Monday, July 8, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Central Time, Tuesday until time of the funeral service,
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or American Cancer Society, which can be made at the funeral home.
