Edna Earl Hamilton was born, November 19, 1949, in West Pointe, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Albert Gardner and Louisiana Hicks Gardner. Edna’s family moved to St. Louis, Missouri where she was a graduate of Soldan High School. There Edna met and married her love and soulmate Dashiell Hamilton, on August 3, 1970.

In May of 1981, they moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky, where she, attended Western Kentucky University and was a manager for Po Folks Restaurant. Edna loved shopping on-line, and was an amazing cook (especially BBQ), she enjoyed traveling and was able to visit, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Memphis, Tennessee, and Paris, France, which was her favorite trip, but more than anything the time she spent with her grandchildren meant the most to her.
