Stephen Ellis Locke, age 79, of Horse Cave, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Signature Health Care of Hart County. He was a native of Hart County and served the City of Horse Cave as a police officer. Stephen will be remembered as loving father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Ellis Locke, and Virginia Locke Edwards.
He is survived by his children, Loretta Matthews (Billy), Mark Locke (Anna), Mindy Helson (Stephen), Stephanie Locke, Jamie Locke (Logan), Aaron Locke, one sister, Lisa Epley, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Honoring Stephen’s wishes, cremation was chosen by the family, and no services are scheduled at this time. Winn Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
