Alden ‘Jenene’ Shaw, born on January 30, 1936, in Indiana, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024, at NHC in Murfreesboro, TN after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Jenene dedicated 30 years of her life working at Caverna Memorial Hospital, where she began as a CNA and retired as the Purchasing Agent Supervisor.
Jenene was predeceased by her loving husband, Kenneth Shaw, and her parents, Vernon Edwards and Edna Mae Riley Edwards.
She leaves behind her brother, Kenneth Allen Edwards (Ruby), nephews Chris and Brad Edwards, and her beloved daughters, Sherry Matthews and Michelle Eastman (JR). Jenene was a proud grandmother to Jason Minor, Chad Minor (Julie), Adam Minor, and Lincoln Eastman, as well as a cherished great-grandmother to Abby Minor, Brayden Minor, Bevin Minor, and BellaRae Minor.
A memorial service to celebrate Jenene’s life will be held at Winn Funeral Home on Thursday, June 20th. Visitation will be from 10:00-2:00 with funeral service at 2:00 PM
