GLASGOW, KY – A man struck a utility pole on Sunday, after overcorrecting his vehicle on Woodlawn Drive. According to a press release from the Glasgow Police Department, The accident was investigated by Sgt. Garth Bragg, who assisted on the scene by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department. The Glasgow Police Department responded to the intersection of Woodlawn Street and Lenna Drive in reference to an injury accident.
It was determined that a 1998 Honda Accord operated by William Ballard was traveling southbound on Woodlawn Street and dropped off the right shoulder of the road, overcorrected and struck a utility pole. William Ballard was treated by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS and transported to T J Samson Hospital for further treatment.
