Janie was preceded in death by her spouse Farrell Johnson, and stepdaughter Leisha Johnson. She was also preceded in her death by the father of her children, Garlon Cole.
Janie attended Leitchfield High School and dedicated her time as alumni Treasurer assisting with awarding scholarships. She also volunteered at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center. She was Treasurer and found solace and community at Clearview Baptist Church. She loved her church family and would sing with them at area nursing homes and shut ins.
Jana loved her family, friends, dogs, reading, Elvis and game shows.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Dermitt Funeral Home, 306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754, on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by services at 3:00 pm.
