BGPD requests public assistance in locating a fugitive who fled after traffic stop

Release from Bowing Green Police Department:

The Bowling Green Police Department is requesting assistance in locating a suspect who fled from officers after a traffic stop.

Joshua Webster, is 5’9 and around 160lbs and is wanted in connection with crimes related to the traffic stop.

Webster fled from the traffic stop, striking two officers, shortly afterward his car collided with a nearby fence, at which point Webster left the scene on foot.

BGPD discovered Fentanyl and other illegal substances in the vehicle.

Webster is wanted for two counts of Wanton Endangerment, Fleeing and Evading, Trafficking in Controlled Substances, Trafficking in Marijuana, and Criminal Mischief.

The BGPD requests that individuals with information in relation to the case are encouraged to call the department at 270-393-4000 or 9-1-1.
