Candy Vasquez, a dedicated member of the Glasgow-Barren County Tourism team, was selected to participate in the prestigious ELEVATE Kentucky Class 2024, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey and highlighting her commitment to promoting tourism in the region.
ELEVATE Kentucky, a statewide leadership development initiative, aims to empower emerging leaders in various industries by providing them with the tools, resources, and mentorship needed to excel in their careers. She spoke to WCLU about how she was first introduced to the program by Maclean Lessenberry, director of the tourism office.
