Glasgow, KY – Farmers RECC recently announced in a press release that District 1 Director Randy London, has recently received recognition of a golden status in the electric cooperative industry. London, received the Director Gold Credential certificate from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), which represents the nation’s almost 900 private, consumer-owned electric cooperatives, which provide electric service to more than 42 million people in 48 states with over 7,200 directors.
Farmers RECC is a not-for-profit electric cooperative, serving more than 27,000 services across eleven Kentucky counties. President and CEO, Toby Moss, had this to say about London’s efforts.
Director Gold includes a continuing education requirement which calls for directors to earn three credits of approved course work and/or conferences every two years to maintain their Director Gold status.
