(Glasgow, KY) Glasgow Middle School Principal, Justin Stinson, presented the “Inspiring Greatness Award” to Mrs. Wendy Decker, who is a 6th grade Language Arts teacher at GMS. Stinson tells WCLU News, Mrs. Stinson is an example and reminder of why educators enter the field.
Many who work in the school are expected to instruct the students during “brain breaks” for social and emotional learning that encourage physical activity.
Mrs. Decker was very humble in her acceptance of this award.
The “Inspiring Greatness Award” was presented to Mrs. Decker on Monday evening at the meeting of the Glasgow Independent School Board. The school board also approved testing dates for this spring and next year’s schedule for students and faculty. More on these items coming soon to WCLU.
