GLASGOW – On February 22, at Glasgow High School, senior lineman, Frankie Cianci signed his letter of intent to play collegiate football at Hanover College.
“It means a lot,” said Cianci. “Not a lot of people get this opportunity and I built this for me, my name, and my parents.” Cianci used persistence and dedication to describe his biggest takeaways from playing football at GHS. “I worked my butt off to get this position and I play both ways.” Click and listen below for Cianci’s full interview with WCLU.
During Frankie’s four-year playing career at GHS, He has been named to the 2022 All SKY Conference 2nd Team Defense, 2023 All SKY Conference 1st Team Defense. Cianci has also been a member of numerous team championships, including the 2020 and 2021 District Championships and the 2021 Region Championship.
“Frankie plays hard, he’s strong and has a lot of upside to him,” said coach Jeff Garmon. “Size is one thing, but just a lot of heart and attitude will take you a long way, and I feel like Frankie has both of those.” Listen to WCLU’s full interview with head coach, Jeff Garmon below.

The Glasgow Scotties finished their season 9-3, after falling to the Hart County Raiders in the second round of the Class 2A Playoffs. The Scotties averaged 33.7 points/game while allowing 16.6 points/game.
