The Lil John concert scheduled for February 24th at Glasgow’s historic Plaza Theatre has been canceled. The Venue and artist were booked by a local non-profit organization known as Helping the Hardworking. The organization is headed by current Barren County Judge-Executive, Jamie Byrd.
She tells WCLU News, the lack of ticket sales forced the decision.
Audio PlayerAt a cost of around $145,000 to bring Lil John to Glasgow, the risk was just too great to keep the event as scheduled, explained Byrd.

She tells WCLU News that as of now, the $55,000 booking fee deposit is not refundable, but perhaps could be refunded in some way.
