Stevie Marrs Hagan

Stevie Marrs Hagan, 62, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 4, 2024, at his home.

Stevie was born May 1, 1961, in Tompkinsville, KY, a son of the late Wanda (Ballard) and David Marrs Hagan.

He was a 1979 graduate of Tompkinsville High School. After graduating high school, he went to work at RR Donnelley and Son, where we worked until their closure and his retirement in 2020. Stevie enjoyed keeping up with politics, watching NASCAR, football games, Cincinnati Reds, gardening, razor rides with Kim, and fishing with his grandchildren.

Stevie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kim (Hammer) Hagan, two sons and daughters-in-law, Tyler and Sara Lain Hagan, of Tompkinsville, KY and Cameron and Brooklyn Lowe Hagan, of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Ellis Ann Hagan, and Gideon “Gid” Marrs Hagan.

Also surviving is one sister, Chasity Hagan, of Tompkinsville, KY, and a nephew, Gunnar Hagan, and wife, Rebecca, of Berea, KY.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Tina Elease Hagan.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.

Visitation will be Sunday, 2-6 p.m., and Monday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Stevie’s memory may be made to Hosparus Health of Barren River.
