(December 11, 2023) Brownsville, KY – The Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Dollar General Store.
Around 8:46pm on Friday, the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office was requested to respond to a robbery at the Chalybeate Dollar General on Chalybeate Road.
Brownsville Police Department assisted. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they determined that an unknown white male walked into the store and demanded cash from cashier. The male subject left the store and proceeded in an unknown direction.
The Investigation is ongoing, and officers are working with Dollar General’s Corporate office to retrieve better video footage.
