Attorney General Daniel Cameron announced today that an investigation conducted by his Office of Medicaid Fraud and Abuse Control has led to the guilty plea of Dana Nagy, 51, of Owensboro on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
Dana Nagy appeared before the Daviess County Circuit Court where she pleaded guilty to one count of a Criminal Attempt to Devise or Engage in a Scheme to Defraud the Kentucky Medical Assistance Program of over $1000 which is a Class A Misdemeanor. She was sentenced to 12 months in jail, suspended for a period of 2 years and ordered to pay restitution of $3,715.97 to the KMAP.
