Tennessee Man and Woman Arrested for Drugs in Scottsville

(October 28, 2023) Scottsville, KY — Scottsville police arrested two Tennessee residents on drug charges and other offenses following a traffic stop on Thursday.

Around 9:45pm, officers with the Scottsville Police Department stopped a 2004 Chevrolet for a traffic violation. Through investigation, officers found illegal narcotics, a handgun, and methamphetamine. The driver, 34-year-old Jacob W. Pedigo of Westmoreland, Tennessee, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, one headlight, failure to signal, no registration plates, failure to maintain insurance, and operating on a suspended operator’s license.

A passenger in the vehicle, 32-year-old Alisha R. Fouts of Westmoreland, Tennessee, was arrested and charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and prescription controlled substance not in proper container.

Pedigo and Fouts were lodged in the Allen County Detention Center.
