(October 31, 2023) Scottsville, KY — Scottsville Police arrested a Cornerstone Manor resident on burglary and theft charges following a break-in at a funeral home.
Around 12:24pm on October 24th, Goad Funeral Home contacted Scottsville Police reporting that an unknown person or persons entered a locked office and took an envelope containing cash and checks.
During investigation, the suspect was identified as 63-year-old Jesse Wayne Watson. Watson was arrested and lodged in the Allen County Detention Center. He is charged with second degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking or disposition more than 10 thousand dollars but less than one million dollars, and third degree criminal trespassing.
