CATLETTSBURG, Ky. (October 16, 2023) — The Boyd County Sheriff’s Office has requested the Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred on October 15th around 6:30pm eastern time on Twin Fork Road in Boyd County.
KSP responded to the scene, and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
A male subject was transported to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
