CLINTON, Ky. (October 12, 2023) — Kentucky State Police have arrested a Clinton man on charges related to a child sexual abuse material investigation.
The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
The investigation resulted in a search warrant at a residence in Clinton on October 11. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.
31-year-old Joshua R. Baird was arrested and charged with one count of promoting a minor under 16 years old in a sex performance, a Class-B felony punishable by ten to twenty years in prison. Baird was lodged in the Hickman County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
